Mission Statement

At Positive Solutions Kent, our mission is to provide the highest quality, innovative support for adults with complex needs and sensory loss in the East Kent area. We are dedicated to offering specialised, person-centred care that empowers individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives, regardless of the challenges they have faced in accessing suitable support.

We are committed to breaking barriers for those who have experienced multiple placement breakdowns, prolonged stays in mental health hospitals, or difficulty finding appropriate care. Through tailored and compassionate support, we promote wellbeing, self-worth, and meaningful relationships, helping people to build connections within their family units and wider communities.

Our Mission

Our mission is to be the best in everything we do.  We aim to stand out from other support providers by maintaining the highest levels of care and offering consistent opportunities for both staff and the people we support to develop and benefit from new experiences. Positive Solutions will enable and empower people whom, if supported by other providers, would probably not have these opportunities and would be much more limited in the lives they lead.

Our Prime Focus

Supporting individuals who have encountered difficulties finding suitable care providers, those who have spent extended periods in mental health hospitals, or those who have experienced multiple placement breakdowns.

Our Vision

Our vision is to work in partnership to support people to manage their own behaviour using positive approaches. We will help set achievable goals that when realised will promote a huge sense of self-worth ensuring that the people we support have lives that are not limited because of their disabilities. Providing this support within a small, dedicated organisation will make it possible to offer totally person focused provision, which is not diluted by the organisational complexities and financial restrictions of a larger organisation. The people we support will be our sole focus.

Our Proven Track Record

Shows our success in placing individuals who have faced challenges in accessing appropriate care and support.

Pride In Our Ability

We take great pride in our ability to provide tailored and person-centred care that promotes independence, wellbeing, and a fulfilling life.

Our Specialised Team

We work collaboratively with individuals to ensure that the support they receive is not only of the highest quality but also personalised to meet their unique needs.

We Encourage People

Those requiring high levels of support can be very isolated due to the nature of the behaviour that they can present with, but we have seen first-hand the benefits of breaking these barriers and encouraging people to build meaningful relationships both within their family units and other supported people.
