We make adaptations to enable people to do this whilst still respecting challenges and individual’s needs. This may mean seeking information using alternative methods rather than directly asking. I have been very lucky throughout my career in health and social care to meet, work alongside, and support many different individuals. The one thing that has always been missing is the sense of feeling genuinely supported, appreciated, and valued within my role.
